San Francisco shortstop, Edgar Renteria just said, "Hey ya'll, remember me?" The former Atlanta Brave tied today's contest in the bottom of the ninth with a 2 run bomb off Braves closer billy wagner. Atlanta was looking for it's first win in front of McCovey's Cove since the 2008 season. But, Renteria had other plans. The game is going into the 11th inning. The former met, "Wild Bill" wagner, just wasted a brilliant outing by Tim Hudson. Hopefully, the Braves can push a few more runs across the scoreboard and emerge victorious in Frisco.
The Braves have 2 outs with Melky Cabrera on 2nd and Martin Prado on 1B. Yunel Escobar is at the plate for Atlanta. I'll update the comments section, when something happens.
Update: Braves failed to score in 12th. Giants are due up. Rookie right fielder, Jason Heyward is 0-5 on the day. But, we gotta keep in mind...he's a rookie. Sandoval just led off the inning with a double off Kris Medlin. PH Andres Torres up to bat for San Francisco. Sacrifice bunt puts the winning run at 3rd.

Bases are full of Braves for Troy Glaus with 2 outs in the 11th after Escobar walks. SF will make a pitching change.
Glaus flies out. Game tied at 4 going into the bottom of 11th.
Peter Moylan takes the mound to face Juan Uribe of the Giants.
Leadoff single.
Sac bunt by Valez sends Uribe to 2B.
Aaron Rowand at the plate.
Renteria on deck.
1-2 to Rowand.
Strike 3. 2 outs for Renteria. Likely to be intentionally walked. Sandoval on deck.

STRIKE 3 to Renteria!! Big swing and a miss. Game goes to 12th.
Ishikawa (what I'd just say?) at the plate for SF. Grounds out. Runner unable to advance. 2 outs for SF. Winning run still 90 feet away.
Whiteside STRIKES OUT!! Game goes to 14th. Ya gotta love the moxy of young Kris Melin.

Brian McCann singled for Atlanta. A wild pick off attempt allowed the Braves catcher to advance to 2B. Kris Melin at the plate. Medlin down on strikes via failed bunt/check swing. Bobby Cox tossed for arguing the call.

Prado takes a base on balls. But, Braves unable to score. Thought this game was a little further along. Braves radio says we're in the 13th (not 14th as I've been typing).
Giants will bat with score tied at 4.

Infield hit by Aaron Rowand wins the game after Uribe steals second and goes to 3rd on an error. Damn. Braves threw this game away. Giants win 5-4.
Good to hear from you Cat. Wish the Bravos would have taken your advice. We had this one from the start and completely threw the game away. 'Scuse my language, but I've gotta use the ole Florida Evans pharse, "damn, damn, DAMN!!!"
