For my Braves fans living outside the state of Georgia, I'll be posting updates of the game in the comments section of this "article."
The game is in the second inning. Jason Heyward just delivered with an RBI double for the Braves. The rookie is up to 5 RBI on the young season.

Braves lead 1-0 after 2. Giovanni Soto, Ryan Dempster, and Ryan Theriot are due up for the cubs in the 3rd.
1 out in the top of the 5th. Atlanta leads 1-0. Alfonso Soriano is on 1B. Mark Fontenot is at the plate with a 3-2 count. Soto on deck.
Fontenot singles. A running Soriano goes from 1st to 3rd. Soto at the plate.
2-0 to Soto.
Soto 2-2 to Soto. Dempster on deck.

Theriot picks up RBI with sac fly. 2-1 Cubs.
Fukudome grounds out. Braves trail 2-1 going into bottom of 5th. Cabrera, Prado, Jones due up for Atlanta.
1 out, Cubs on 1st and 2nd for Aramis Ramirez. 3-1 is the count.

Game is going into bottom of 8th. 2-1 Cubs. Due up for Atl: Cabrera, Prado, Jones who are a combined 2-9 tonight.
Prado on 2nd with a double. One out for Chipper Jones. 2-0 to Larry.
HOMERUN! Braves lead 3-2.
0-2 to McCann.
McCann pops out. Glaus to the plate. Braves 1B has already struck out 3 times. Cubs will make a pitching change.
4Ks for Glaus. Wagner on for a save opportunity.
Byrd, Soriano, Fontenot due up for Cubs in 9th.
Byrd strikes out. Elsewhere, Florida leads the Mets 6-3 in the 7th. 1-0 to Soriano.
Single for Soriano.
Nady PH for Fontenot. Stike 3. 2 out.
1-2 to Soto. Wagner is bringing some heat tonight, hitting 98 MPH on the radar gun.
Strike out ends the game. Braves win 3-2.
Man,
I am not a baseball fan, and it takes a lot to get me to watch a game on TV. I love to go to the games, but it is hard for me to keep up with because of the season being so long, with so many games, and the fact that I don't live extremely close to a team, and therefore dont have a team to call my own.
Anyways, even though I do not follow baseball closely, I can tell you that it is a great feeling to hear about the Atlanta braves this season. It seems they have finally bounced back from the "rebuilding" years. I know the season is early, but I get a different vibe from them when I watch them than what I have felt the last couple years about them.
I'm pretty sure they have already outscored all offensive production from last year, haha.
