Chic-Fil-A Bowl
#11 Virginia Tech leads Tennessee 14-0 with 11:56 left in the second quarter. UT has yet to produce any offense in this game. John Crompton just proved me wrong. Denarious Moore just caught a 40 yard pass from the Tennessee QB. UT is at their own 44 with 9:15 to go before half. Tennessee calls their 2nd timeout. Once the game resumes, it will be 3rd and 5 for UT.

Gerald Jones gains 15. Then, Crompton is blindsided by J Ron Hosely of VT! That was an awesome hit.
Gerald Jones strikes again. 1st and goal UT at the 4. G Jones drops potential TD pass. 2nd and goal for UT. Vols in the I formation. Jones in motion and Hardesty somehow gets away from Cordero Thompson. Touchdown UT. Great run by Hardesty. PAT is good. 14-7 VT with 6:43 left before halftime.
