There are a couple of good bowl games going on right now. Sloth Carolina currently has their hands full with UConn in the Papajohns.com Bowl on the 4 letter network. The Huskies have a 10-0 lead with 9:07 left in the first half. UConn is down to the 26 yard line of Sloth Carolina.
Over on Fox, Ole Miss is battling Oklahoma State. Just a few moments ago, the Rebels were denied on 4th goal from the Cowboys 1 yard line. Oklahoma State will be punting from deep inside their own territory. The first quarter will end in less than a minute. So far, it's a scoreless game in the Cotton Bowl.

UConn leads Sloth Carolina 13-0 with 7:55 left in 1st half. The Gamecocks will face 3rd and 16 deep in their own territory following a timeout. Spurrier's squad has yet to gain a first down.
And we have a 1st down! Steven Garcia just completed an 18 yard pass to one of his WRs. I think it was Alshon Jeffrey, but I'm not sure.
And another 1st down for the Gamecocks. All of a sudden, Sloth Carolina is up to midfield.
Gamecocks just gained 16 more. They are around the UConn 40.
What looked like a nice drive for Sloth Carolina will be all for nothing. Looked like they were going for a long FG, but the snap was terribly mishandled. Watching live, it almost looked like a poorly executed fake.
Big sack by freshman DB Stephon Gilmore backs up the Huskies. They face 3rd and 14 from midfield- short pass gains 5. UConn will punt.
Fair catch by Gilmore. Gamecocks will have the ball inside their own 20 after commercial break.
Forgot about Ole Miss for a minute. They lead 7-0 with just under 6 minutes left in 1st half. On 3rd and 8, backup QB Nathan Stanley (FR) runs for 1st down.
Don't know what happened to Snead. If any of ya'll have the info, please let me know. It can't be too serious. Dude's got his helmet on as he stands on the Mississippi sideline.

1:11 left before Halftime of Cotton Bowl. Ole Miss still leads 7-0. Rebels will have the ball following commercial break. From what I've seen so far, Ole Miss is playing some good D today. OSU has 67 scrawny yards so far.
Jevan Snead is back in the game. Ib 2nd and 3, McCluster gains zero. Shuffle pass to McCluster produces 1st down. Ole Miss calls 2nd T.O. Rebels are around their own 40.

Personal foul on Sloth Carolina extends the UConn drive. Once again, Huskies should have had to punt. Now, they're in Gamecocks territory. To translate what the ESPN crew is saying, "Carolina is playing dumb football, right now." They said it a little nicer.

Meanwhile at the Cotton Bowl, Ole Miss backup QB Stanley just threw a costly pick. Cowboys are 2nd and 7 from the Rebels 8. Pass interference called on Miss. 1st and goal from the 2 for OSU. Good call by the refs.
Keith Toston to the 1. 2nd and goal for OSU. No gain. 3rd and goal from the 1. A Tebow-esque jump pass from Toston to Youman for a short 6-strike by OSU. That was a sweet play!
PAT ties the game at 7.
Back at the Pizza Bowl, UConn is knocking at the door. Leading 13-0 the Huskies are on the Carolina 16. End of 3rd quarter. A TD here could crush Sloth Carolina.

PAT good. 20-0 UConn. What's going on here? An SEC team should never get whooped by UConn, of all people. Very disappointed in Sloth Carolina.

Ole Miss just squandered a huge opportunity. Rebels had 1st and goal from 3 prior to false start. Then, suffered back to back sacks. After an incomplete pass, PK Joshua Shene continued his poor performance by missing another FG, this one from 39 yards out. Summerall just stated that Shene only missed 3 all year. What's going on?
Kendall Hunter just gained a ton of yards. OSU to the 30 yard line of Ole Miss.

FUMBLE!! Trahan returns it for the score. Miss 20 OSU 7. Looked like the Cowboys hit big on a pass completion over the middle. But, a big hit jarred the ball loose. Trahan scooped up the ball and took it to the house. SEC! SEC! SEC!

Great play by the Ole Miss defense. Don't know the name of the dude that knocked the ball loose. But, Patrick Trahan just made the play of his life.

Trahan strikes again! On 4th and 7, he intercepts the Zac Robinson pass. Rebels are going to win back to back Cotton Bowls.
Next up for the SEC...Petrino's pigs will play (actually they're already playing) ECU in the Liberty Bowl. Gotta pull for those Hogs. SEC needs another victory.
