After just one half an inning in Atlanta, Florida has already plated 3 runs. Not a good start for Braves rookie pitcher, Brandon Beachy. Leading 1-0, Marlin Mike Stanton drove in 2 additional fish with an RBI double down the left field line.
This one started to feel like the Braves were in trouble, before the popcorn man could advertise his presence at the Ted. (Cold beer, anybody?)
But, Martin Prado and Nate McLouth decided to bring their bats, tonight. The first and second batters in the Braves first inning produced back to back singles. With runners on first and third, Chipper Jones didn't wait long, to drive in his 1,501 RBI. Facing a 3-2 count, Larry sent an RBI single through the right side of the infield.
Brian McCann followed with a 3 run blast over the right field fence. After a discouraging start, Atlanta leads 4-3 after one inning of play.

Leading off 2nd, Florida catcher Buck walked. Nolasco sac bunted his fellow fish to 2B.
1 out and Coghlan at bat for Marlins, with tying run in scoring position.

Great play by Braves SS Alex Gonzalez to save a run from scoring. Coghlan on 1st, Buck to
3rd on infield single.
Former Bravo, Infante, batting.

The dangerous Hanley Ramirez bats.
And delivers on an RBI single. Game tied at 4.

No more damage done by Marlin Mike, as he flies out to Uggla.
4-4 after 2 and a half in Atlanta.
In Philadelphia, there is no score in the 4th.
In New York, Colorado took both games of a double header against the dastardly Mets.
Back at Turner Field, rookie 1B Freddie Freeman leads off 2nd Braves inning with a double. Beachy faces 0-2 count, after unsucessful sac bunt attempt.
Beachy lays down bunt. Freeman thrown out at 3rd. DAMN!
And what looked like a promising inning for Atlanta... is over. Prado GIDP (grounded into double play).
Logan Morrison will lead off 3rd for Fish.
Marlin LF facing 1-1 count.

Dude flied out to the glove of Jason Heyward in shallow right field.
1 gone. Gaby Sanchez solo HR. 5-4 fish. Once again, DAMN!!

Middle of Atlanta's lineup to bat in bottom 8th. 6-5 Florida and this could be Atlanta's best remaining chance to GET SOME RUNS!

Hensley... whoever that is will attempt to shut the Bravos down. So far, so good for Clay. Dan flies out.
Heyward the HR kid steps into the batter's box.
Jason grounds out. Going into 9th inning, it kinda feels like the
11th hour for Braves fans. Fish have Bravos on the ropes of defeat.
Whatever happens, at least we ain't dastardly Mets fans. As I mentioned earlier, they lost 2X today. We can only lose once.
But, it ain't over yet...Starting to lose hope, but I still faintly believe.

Pesky at bat by Cousins. Dude fouled off about 2,000 pitches, then drilled a lead off single through Atlanta's infield.
Cleat high slidin' Cousins caught stealing. Uggla, speared by spikes, made the tag.

Braves must score or lose. Leo Nunez on mound for Florida.

Cousins 8th inning single was with 1 out, not none. My bad.
Freddie drilled one, but the result was just a noisy first out.
