Tech Wrecks Georgia

Live from Sandersville-

Well, this is one article I wish I didn't have to write. Leading 28-12 at the half, it looked as if Georgia had command of the game. Then, the third quarter happened. As Dawg defenders forgot how to wrap up and make tackles, Tech torched 'em for 26 unanswered points. Trailing by 10 during the fourth quarter, the UGA offense responded with touchdown drives of 41 and 72 yards. Sandwiched in between those scores, Georgia was very much alive. But, gt would not be denied. Clinging to a skinny little 3 point lead with approximately 7 minutes remaining, Tech tailback Roddy Jones broke Georgia's back with a 54 yard touchdown run on 3rd and 7. Although yellow jackets QB Jon Nesbitt completed just 1 of 6 passes for 19 yards, tech put 45 points on the board. How did that happen? Gt ran for over 400 yards against Georgia's hit hard and forget to wrap up defense. Both teams finish the regular season with 9-3 records. How 'bout a Chic-Fil-A Bowl rematch? It won't happen, but this Georgia fan doesn't like the concept of waiting 365 days for redemption. Although I watched this game unfold, I'd like to pretend that my mind was playin' tricks on me.
