Will Matt Ryan Get KO'd in 08?

It's been a long time, since the Atlanta Falcons have fielded a strong offensive line. Yes, I remember Warrick Dunn and company leading the NFL in rushing. I also remember that one dimensional offense struggling to consistently put points on the board. Former QB#7 frequently ran for his life on passing downs. Well, the young gun slinger from Boston College ain't no former QB#7! He is far from swift, and not proficient when it comes to his ability to "pick 'em up and put 'em down." If we see a traditionally poor pass blocking Falcons O- Line, dude had better have a quick release. Otherwise, the newest "face of the franchise" might get crushed, and become referred to as Matt Ryan "Leaf."

However, the emergence of second year player, Justin Blalock, and rookie Sam Baker could help to bolster the offensive line. The combination of Michael Turner and Jerious Norwood will provide the Falcons with one of the league's most exciting ground attacks. But... how well can the Offensive Line provide pass protection for their rookie QB? Although Baker, the former USC Trojan, has shown flashes at OT, you can't get too excited about preseason results. Will Matt Ryan get KO'd in 08? I'd ask the Atlanta O-Linemen, but I like breathing without broken ribs. Just kidding, guys.
