Now batting for Braves:
PH Martin Prado

Looks cold and nasty in Washington. As Kelly Johnson attemtps a bunt for a hit. Joe Beimel dives, fields ball, throws Kelly out at 1st. 2 Down. Here comes the ground crew, as we start the clock on rain delay #2.
Doesn't look good for Braves. If rain continues, game could be called. I'm hoping for a "suspended game," in case they are unable to resume. Looks like it's time for some boring rain delay episodes of "Underneath the Lights," featuring Bobby Cox. If you don't see any more updates, it's because I've fallen asleep.
Go Braves!
Tarp is off the field. Rain delay is over.
New pitcher Mock for Nats. Escobar (0-3) is up to bat.
Escobar is 0-4 tonight, as he grounds out.

@$^&$@#!
Braves fall to 6-7. They're 5-2 with Chipper Jones in the lineup and just 1-5 without #10. CJ played well tonight, but Atlanta couldn't muster enough offense versus the pathetic Washington Nationals.
Kawakami pitches tomorrow. Braves wasted a good outing by Derek Lowe. Hopefully, they can produce enough runs to win game 2 of this series. Braves lose, Nats improve to 2-10.
